2. “Do It This Way”

We are sometimes so caught up in our way of doing things that we have lost the ability to think ‘outside the box.’ Forcing a child to perform a task in a set way stifles their creative thinking. (Children need to learn to be obedient but I am addressing the non-critical areas, their play time. Let them build their fort or contraption the way they want to. Let them experiment.)
